📊 Two students engaged to evaluate social impact
An innovative project is a new way of acting to improve the daily lives of elderly people who are vulnerable or isolated. It involves rethinking existing solutions, experimenting with new approaches, and creating initiatives that are more humane, supportive, and sustainable.
Through collaboration between different stakeholders — citizens, associations, institutions, and volunteers — these projects aim to break isolation, strengthen social connections, and promote the well-being of older adults.
Understanding the real impact of initiatives carried out for older adults is essential to continuously improve the projects being supported.
Thanks to the funds raised during the 2025 Brussels 20K Run, two students were hired over the summer to assist with data collection as part of the evaluation of the social impact of the actions carried out by the be.Source Foundation and its partners for socially isolated and vulnerable older adults.
Their contribution helped provide a better understanding of the effects of Accolage’s projects on its beneficiaries. This work has made it possible to gain deeper insights into the outcomes of these initiatives and to better guide future actions according to the needs identified in the field.
